The hotel is only 26 kilometers from the airport and of course also offers an airport shuttle. A great hotel with a feel-good and relaxation factor, but a little far from the beach.
The monkey forest of Ubud – one of our must-sees in Bali – can be reached on foot or by bike, which can be rented from the hotel, as can the lively city center.
So if the beach is not a priority for your vacation, then this resort is definitely worth considering.

This resort is located on the southernmost part of Bali and has direct access to Nusa Dua Beach with a private stretch of beach. The rooms are very modern, some with direct access to the pool, and you can also rent a villa with one or two bedrooms.
On booking.com, guests of this resort particularly praise the breakfast, which is said to be very varied (there is even sushi on offer).
There is also a wellness area, a bar, a restaurant and a bicycle rental service. This hotel offers great value for money and is only a 25-minute drive from the international airport.

This resort is located in the southwest of Bali and is particularly quiet, directly on Pasut Beach. There are variously equipped suites and bungalows, some with a private pool or whirlpool. There is also a large outdoor pool and a wellness area for relaxing massages. There is a restaurant at the resort and you have the opportunity to take part in yoga classes.
The resort is surrounded by rice fields, overlooking the sea and the surrounding green mountains, with the town of Tabanan just a 30-minute drive away.
If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and just want to relax, then this hotel is not a bad alternative, as the prices are also much lower due to the distance to the airport (an approximately 1.5 hour drive).

A beautiful 5-star resort, right on Bali’s trendiest beach, Seminyak.
The resort has a fitness center, a wellness area, an outdoor pool and direct access to the beach.
For a fee, you can also hire a bike and explore the lively, nearby surroundings.
The accommodation is divided into studios, i.e. separate, small cottages, and elegant suites, some with balconies.
Day trips and car hire can also be booked through the hotel and the Potato Head beach club is just an 8-minute walk away.
The airport shuttle takes you to the international airport in around 30 minutes. Great if you don’t want to drive too far to reach your hotel after your flight.

This resort has one of the best ratings for accommodation in Bali and rightly so. It is also located directly on the super trendy Seminyak beach, surrounded by over 6 hectares of gardens.
It is made entirely of traditional Balinese architecture, has an outdoor pool overlooking the sea, and is within walking distance of excellent restaurants and The Seminyak Square shopping center.
You can rent both a villa and a room, with a garden view or sea view, and have numerous beauty treatments or massages in the wellness area. There is also a fitness center and even weddings can be celebrated here. So hey, why not get married here?
This resort is beautiful and only 9 kilometers from the airport, but of course it has its price.

The resort is in the upper price range, but you get value for money. It is also located on the popular Seminyak beach, surrounded by a tropical garden.
The rooms are very luxuriously furnished, each with a 32-inch flat screen TV, a Blu-ray player and 2 iPods with a sound dock and entertainment system. All rooms also have their own living area and balcony.
The resort also has a wellness area with an ocean view and steam bath, as well as a fitness room and offers daily yoga classes. The in-house restaurant serves both international and Asian dishes and there is a bar by the outdoor pool as well as on the hotel’s own beach.
The airport is only a few minutes away by car. Highly recommended if you have the necessary change.

This resort is located in the middle of the jungle, outside Ubud, in the interior of Bali.
Here, too, you can choose between a room or a villa when booking, with great views of the surrounding jungle and the Petanu River.
Each accommodation has a terrace and its own seating area, as well as a spacious, luxurious marble bathroom.
Of course, such a resort also includes a distinctive wellness area, as well as a beauty salon and infinity pool.
The in-house restaurant serves fusion cuisine in a romantic ambience, and you can round off the evening with a cocktail at the bar.
The Kayon Resort is ideal for relaxation, as it is far from the city traffic of Ubud, but also far from the nearest beach. Nevertheless, the popular town can be reached in around 15 minutes by car using the free shuttle service. The airport, on the other hand, is a 90-minute drive away.
